The official "Welcome to OVGU" app is now available for Android and iOS. If you have just enrolled at OVGU, this app offers you all the important information about campus life. Especially for our international students, we have useful tips for arriving in Magdeburg:

Praktikumsstellen für Internationals
Are you an international student studying at OVGU? Then you now have the chance to complete an internship in a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME)! The "Partners of Tomorrow" program is funded by the Ministry of Economics, Tourism, Agriculture and Forestry of Saxony-Anhalt. This programme has already enabled many international students to gain work experience and positively shape their careers. Here you can also find important impulses for student research projects and final theses. At the same time, you can enrich the intercultural skills of companies and enhance the internationalization of the economy and the labour market in Saxony-Anhalt.
The internships are offered in many different disciplines and specializations. If we have sparked your interest, take a look at the notices and apply now simply by sending your CV to international@expert-pm.de!

Weekly office hours
During the semester our office hours will every week on Monday from 4-5pm and
Thursdays from 5-6pm. During these hours, members of the IKUS team will be available to answer any questions you may have, refund event deposits, etc.

Please carefully read the original leaflet (in German) or the translated leaflet (in English) with information on collecting documents via the new document pick up station as well as the original declaration of consent (in German) or the translated declaration of consent (in English) under data protection.
Please send the completed and signed declaration of consent in the original (German version) to the Foreigners' Authority when applying for the renewal of your residence title.
