DaF (German as a foreign language) intensive courses for levels A1.1 and A2.1 of the SPRZ in March
Are you looking for an intensive german course to take before the semester starts?
From 04.-22.3. 2024 the SPRZ (language centre of the OvGU) is hosting intensive courses for German level A1.1 and A2.1 .
If you want to start with level A1.1, you can sign up via LSF
If you want to start with Level A2.1, you have to apply with an A1 certificate from the SPRZ or complete the online language assessment test ( application from 19.02.-26.02.2024) here under https://sprachenzentrum.ovgu.de/ and sign up via LSF .
If you want to start with Level B1.1 you have to apply with an A2 certificate from the SPRZ or complete the online language assessment test ( application from 19.02.-26.02.2024) here under https://sprachenzentrum.ovgu.de/ and sign up via LSF as well .

Within the scope of funding by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (AA), the International Office of the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg announces
6 financial aids for foreign students and doctoral candidates of the OVGU.

"Welcome to Studying in Germany" - a language course offer for international students by DUO
Dear international students,
We would like to introduce you to the new language course offered by Deutsch-Uni Online (DUO) for international students:
The language course "Welcome to Studying in Germany" has been specially developed for international students. It offers participants the opportunity to optimally prepare for the start of their studies and provides comprehensive factual and procedural knowledge about studying, language and culture in Germany in 8 chapters.
We cordially invite international students who will be studying at this university in the summer semester 2024 to participate in the six-week course starting on 19 February 2024.
Key features of the "Welcome to Studying in Germany" course:
Course start: The next course starts on 19 February 2024 and runs for a period of six weeks. Registration deadline is 07 February.
Interactive learning in groups: Participants will learn in small groups with other international students. This encourages exchange and enables new contacts to be made before the start of the programme.
Personalised support: Students are accompanied by a dedicated tutor who supports the learning process, answers questions and moderates group discussions.
Comprehensive knowledge: The course covers all the important information that international students need for a successful start in Germany. Topics such as semester planning, learning organisation, cultural and linguistic particularities and much more are covered in detail.
Flexibility: The course is online-based so that participants can access it conveniently from any location. This enables optimal customisation to individual schedules.
Cost per participant: EUR 75.00

Please send the completed and signed declaration of consent in the original (German version) to the Foreigners' Authority when applying for the renewal of your residence title.
